The Village Initiative is a grassroots, 501c3 organization dedicated to equity and justice in the Williamsburg-James City County Schools and community. The Village Initiative takes a four-pronged approach to social change, focusing on 1) policy advocacy, 2) school programming, 3) community outreach and early literacy, and 4) the preservation of local Black histories.
