Congratulations to Outstanding Principal of Virginia, Mr. Howard Townsend!

The Village is thrilled to celebrate longtime supporter Mr. Howard Townsend who has been voted Outstanding Principal of Virginia by the Virginia Association of Secondary School Principals. Principal at Jamestown High School since 2018, Mr. Townsend implemented a "house-like" program that unites students in a sense of shared pride and common identity. Mr. Townsend also started the Freshman University program, which helps students with the transition from middle to high school.
